The company combines research and development, materials science expertise, and production capabilities to deliver innovative solutions, emphasizing continuous improvement, quality, safety, and close collaboration with customers on complex technical challenges. Job Description Lead the development, testing, and implementation of new materials, products, and manufacturing processes to enhance performance and expand capabilities. Analyze production operations, identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, yield, and cost performance. Provide technical expertise and hands-on support to manufacturing teams by troubleshooting complex process and production issues. Evaluate, install, validate, and optimize new equipment and technologies while managing pilot programs and process qualification activities. Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and commercial teams to support product delivery, process documentation, and manufacturing excellence. Serve as a technical leader by conducting data-driven analysis, supporting customer needs, and promoting knowledge sharing and continuous innovation across the organization. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Materials Science with several years of experience supporting R D, manufacturing, and product development environments. PhD preferred. Strong expertise in materials characterization, process development, root cause analysis, and data-driven problem solving. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives from concept through implementation. Effective communicator who can collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers, operations, and quality teams. Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality, innovation, attention to detail, and delivering measurable business results. Experience working with metals.
