40.0 Responsibilities Assist with the efficient operation of manufacturing facilities by procuring and maintaining automation equipment. Design, oversee installation, and complete qualification of new automation systems. Manage automation costs and present savings opportunities to management regularly. Maintain and improve existing automation machines within the division. Coordinate with outside suppliers for automation projects. Create and approve specifications and designs for new automation machines. Manage construction schedules to meet production needs for automation projects. Procure purchase orders for automation at suppliers. Assist with production start-ups related to automation machinery. Troubleshoot automation machines and oversee continuous improvement efforts. Support other divisions with automation projects as needed. Use a handheld propane torch on the production floor as required. Requirements College Degree or Injection Molding Processing experience 3+ years of experience in automation or related field Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards Ability to work with standard methods of work in manufacturing environments System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
