Insight Global Keyword Location Search view all jobs MES Engineer (Syncade) Merion, PA Posted yesterday Apply Now Job Description We are seeking an experienced MES Engineer to support a large-scale digital manufacturing transformation within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This individual will help modernize manufacturing operations through the design, implementation, and optimization of Emerson Syncade MES, Electronic Batch Records (EBR), recipe-driven manufacturing processes, and integration with manufacturing automation systems.

Overview:

Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Engineering, and Operations teams to understand manufacturing processes and translate them into digital MES solutions. Configure, develop, and enhance Emerson Syncade MES applications to support batch execution, material tracking, work instructions, and manufacturing workflows. Convert paper-based batch records and operating procedures into compliant Electronic Batch Records (EBRs). Author and maintain recipes, workflows, electronic forms, process instructions, and manufacturing execution logic within Syncade. Support integration between MES, automation platforms, historians, ERP systems, and other manufacturing applications. Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, validation, deployment, and post-go-live support activities. Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Support GMP validation activities, change controls, deviation investigations, and data integrity initiatives. Assist with standardization efforts and deployment of MES solutions across multiple manufacturing sites. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to digital manufacturing, operational efficiency, and manufacturing execution. • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Emerson Syncade MES in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• DeltaV integration experience
• Recipe authoring/workflow configuration
• Experience supporting full MES lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare
• Experience with Multi-site MES deployments
• Experience with paper-to-digital manufacturing transformation programs.
