About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Operational Excellence Lead to spearhead our next phase of organizational transformation. In this pivotal, hands-on role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and shop-floor execution to drive significant improvements in efficiency and workflow across our complex manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Design and execute practical improvement roadmaps that optimize production flow and reduce operational waste. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes across supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing departments. Lead Kaizen events and implement Lean methodologies to achieve measurable gains in productivity and lead-time reduction. Utilize Value Stream Mapping and root-cause analysis to identify and eliminate systemic barriers to performance. Establish and maintain visual management systems and standard work procedures to ensure long-term process sustainability. Translate complex operational data into actionable insights that drive continuous improvement initiatives. Influence stakeholders at all levels, from the production floor to executive leadership, to foster a culture of accountability. Qualifications Required Skills 7+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or continuous improvement within high-mix, low-volume manufacturing. Deep expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, pull systems, and waste elimination. Proven track record of delivering measurable results in cost, quality, and delivery performance. Strong proficiency in data analysis, ERP software, and process engineering tools. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence teams without direct reporting authority. Preferred Skills Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Direct experience in capital equipment or engineered-product manufacturing environments. Advanced knowledge of supplier management and procurement optimization. Experience with advanced root-cause analysis methodologies like Fishbone diagrams and 5 Whys.
