Job Description
A growing manufacturing company is looking to hire an OT Security Architect to join their team. This is with a large enterprise manufacturing organization operating across 13 domestic sites with an active greenfield facility currently under construction. The environment spans both IT and OT, with security coverage across active manufacturing floors. The core stack includes Rockwell Automation platforms, Stratix industrial networking, Palo Alto firewalls, enterprise EDR, and SIEM infrastructure. This team is building, not patching. The greenfield site is a ground-up implementation, and this role owns both the design and the execution. They need someone who can architect a secure OT network from scratch and then install, integrate, and tune the tools themselves. Handing off after the design phase is not how this team operates. This team will continue to grow so this role provides career growth opportunity and stability. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in OT or industrial cybersecurity, with direct exposure to manufacturing environments Experience architecting secure OT/ICS networks, including segmentation design, zone and conduit architecture, and Purdue model implementation Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with Stratix industrial networking equipment, including configuration and security hardening Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management and network security design Hands-on experience with EDR platforms, including agent deployment, tuning, and alert analysis SIEM integration experience, including onboarding OT log sources and building use cases that translate to SOC-actionable alerts Experience conducting vulnerability assessments in OT environments using passive scanning approaches appropriate for sensitive manufacturing systems Demonstrated ability to work directly with vendors, evaluate tooling, and migrate configurations across platforms Desired Skills & Experience Background in electrical engineering, industrial controls, or direct time on a manufacturing floor Familiarity with
