Job Description
As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer within the Integrated Supply Chain Supplier Readiness casting and forgings organization here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage advanced manufacturing operations to drive operational excellence, process optimization, and innovation in our manufacturing processes. You will report directly to our Director Supplier Development Engineer, and you'll work out of our South Bend, IN location on a remote work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive cost efficiencies within our external casting and forging supply chain At Honeywell, our people leaders play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- + Lead and manage advanced manufacturing operations to drive operational excellence and process optimization associated to external casting and forging suppliers + Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity and improve product quality + Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational goals + Identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to drive innovation and cost efficiencies + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives + Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions + Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards •
YOU MUST HAVE
- + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics + Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization with 3+ years of experience working in casting manufacturing + Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing + Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements + Excellent leadership and people management skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams •
