Job Description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Automation Engineer . In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop, program, implement, and maintain high-performance automation systems, leveraging advanced robotics and control technologies to optimize manufacturing efficiency, quality, and reliability. Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve : Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and motion control technologies. Program, integrate, and optimize industrial robots for assembly, material handling, inspection, and other automated production processes. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs using platforms such as Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 to ensure reliable machine performance. Support the integration of vision systems, sensors, barcode scanners, and industrial communication networks to enhance automation efficiency and quality control. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve equipment performance, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive continuous process optimization.
If you have/are:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience in automotive or other regulated manufacturing environments with exposure to automated production systems. Strong understanding of industrial automation, controls, robotics, and manufacturing processes. Ability and willingness to work on the production floor, support off-shift manufacturing issues, and provide support during launches or critical production events. Flexibility to work occasional extended hours and travel as needed for training, equipment commissioning, or technical support activities.
