Job Description
We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our North American team in Assumption, IL. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of conditioning systems and accessories, playing a key role in bringing innovative, high-quality products to market. Your Impact Design and configure product variations to meet customer-specific requirements Develop and maintain standardized design procedures to improve efficiency and consistency Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and order fulfillment Create detailed 3D models and drawings using Creo Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate the Voice of the Customer into product designs Evaluate designs for risk, manufacturability, cost, and performance Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure product integrity Support prototype builds and validation testing to verify safety and performance Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives Apply lessons learned to enhance existing products and resolve field issues Your Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Agricultural / Biological, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering 5-10 years of engineering experience, ideally in product development Experience taking products from concept through production release Proficiency with Creo and Windchill a plus Background in agriculture a plus Knowledge of airflow / ventilation a plus Knowledge of heating systems with various fuel sources a plus Your Compensation and Benefits Expected annual salary for this role will be $70,000 - $100,000, plus a bonus target. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
