Job Title:
Remote Distribution Designers/Engineers Job Description We are seeking a skilled Distribution Designers and Engineers with extensive experience in the power delivery sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Distribution Design Studio in distribution design and engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong focus on quality assurance and quality control. Responsibilities Design and develop distribution systems using DDS. Perform design engineering for power delivery projects, focusing on pole design, relocation, and replacements. Ensure quality assurance and quality control across all projects. Collaborate with teams to support Centerpoint or AEP projects with an emphasis on resiliency and new pole location design. Maintain project timelines and deliverables in a remote work environment. Essential Skills Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a distribution engineer, designer, or design engineer. At least 3 years of experience with DDS (Preferred) 3+ years of experience in resiliency or DDP, including new pole location and roadway pole relocations. 2+ years of QA/QC experience in related projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in power delivery and pole design. Experience with pole relocation and replacements. Strong leadership capabilities. Work Environment This is a remote position operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. There is potential for flexible working hours upon approval. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
