Job Description

Position Description The Labels Core Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and launch of labeling systems, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop label design concepts, including engineering and system integration Lead prototype validation, product launch activities, and regulatory conformance Ensure compliance with: Internal requirements Regulatory standards CDPR assessments cascaded by ASO/E&S Identify gaps and implement preventative actions to eliminate repeat issues Ensure completion of all component FMA documentation, including: DFMEA SCCAFs CPAs Develop and execute design validation processes (DV/PV), requirements, and test methods Monitor AIMs, DURIS, and warranty trends; take corrective actions through resolution Address Voice of the Customer and fleet-related issues, driving them to closure Required Skills Quality Engineering Conduct testing to assess product robustness and identify weaknesses Implement improvements across manufacturing, design, and platforms Application Design Utilizing internal systems, ensure products meet specific customer, market, and performance requirements APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) Basic understanding of processes to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met CAD Design / CATIA Basic proficiency in 3D environments for component placement validation Change Management Apply change management processes to deliver solutions aligned with program milestones Identify stakeholders, plan and execute change, resolve obstacles, and implement improvements

Master's Degree Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allen Park, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.30 - $50.74/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
