visas please! About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product launches and drive improvements across high-volume production environments. This role focuses on process development, operational efficiency, and hands-on production support. Key Responsibilities Support new product launches and manufacturing process development Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (routings, work instructions, PFMEA, and related process documentation) Assist with sourcing and implementation of tooling and production equipment Lead continuous improvement efforts, including: Scrap reduction Downtime reduction Efficiency improvements Labor optimization Provide daily production support, troubleshooting issues on the manufacturing floor Conduct time studies and maintain routing accuracy Support equipment upgrades, error-proofing initiatives, and process standardization Assist with run-at-rate activities and overall manufacturing readiness Coordinate with suppliers for tooling and equipment procurement Support quality systems and process deviation documentation
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience 1-4 years of manufacturing engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1-3 years of experience Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Experience Industry:
Automotive (Tier 1 supplier experience a plus) Assembly manufacturing Welding and robotics systems Injection molding Stamping and automated production environments
Technical Skills:
APQP and PFMEA Root cause analysis methodologies Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen Time studies and standard work development Run-at-rate execution Error proofing and OEE improvements Scrap and downtime reduction initiatives Equipment installation and process optimization Tooling design/support Additional Preferred Experience Experience working in IATF 16949 or similar quality environments Exposure to OEM programs (e.g., Ford, GM, Stellantis) Automotive launch support experience Work Environment Hybrid schedule with both on-site and remote work components Hands-on involvement in a manufacturing setting
