job summary: Our premier client is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer who thrives at the intersection of hands-on engineering and advanced data analytics. This hybrid role perfectly bridges the gap between the shop floor and digital systems, tasking you with leveraging automated line data via Excel and Power BI to systematically eliminate downtime. In this position, you will collaborate directly with machinery manufacturers (OEMs) on technical upgrades and design clever, low-cost engineering solutions that can be standardized and scaled across factories. To be successful, you should bring 3-5+ years of experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment, backed by a sharp, analytical problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.

location: Aurora, Colorado job type: Contract salary: $45 - 50 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead root-cause analysis to identify and fix planned and unplanned equipment downtime.

Collaborate with machine manufacturers (OEMs) and write User Requirement Specifications (URS) for equipment upgrades.

Design and implement low-cost, localized engineering solutions to improve line reliability.

Build data models and interactive dashboards (Excel/Power BI) to track factory KPIs and performance.

Conduct cost-benefit analyses (CBAs) to justify process improvements and track financial impacts.

Create Knowledge Transfer Packages (KTPs) to help other factories replicate your technical solutions.

Maintain manufacturing process standards and train site teams on digital and information management (IM) tools
Qualifications:
3-5+ years in high-volume manufacturing bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent work experienceMust have strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying process issues and developing effective solutions.
