Job Description

MEP VDC Production Modeler Long‑Term Contract with Path to Direct Hire Benefits included (health, medical, dental, PTO, and holiday pay) About the Role We are seeking an experienced MEP VDC Production Modeler to support the development of high‑quality, constructible mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) models from early engineering design through fabrication‑level detail. This role plays a critical part in bridging design intent and field execution , producing models that are built specifically for prefabrication and installation , not just coordination. You will work closely with project teams to translate engineering documents into fabrication‑ready Revit MEP models that align with project scope, schedule, and delivery goals. The position offers a long‑term contract opportunity with the intent to convert to a direct, full‑time employee , along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed Revit MEP models based on engineering drawings, specifications, and design markups. Advance models from design intent through
LOD 350-400
, including accurate routing, hanger placement, and coordination details. Apply constructability best practices, installation sequencing, and real‑world field logic to all models. Translate engineering design information into coordinated, fabrication‑ready models suitable for prefabrication and field installation. Ensure modeling deliverables align with project scope, schedule, and overall delivery objectives. Support project teams by updating and refining models as designs evolve and coordination requirements change. Produce models that clearly reflect field conditions and practical installation methods to support efficient construction execution. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency with Revit for MEP modeling . Working knowledge of MEP systems and design concepts . Proven ability to develop models to

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and markups and translate them into accurate 3D models. Familiarity with coordination workflows between design, prefabrication, and field installation teams . High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, fabrication‑ready models . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
