- Level 3 to join our team in Devens, MA.
- Design and validate new processes and fixtures, and plan sequence of operations for the manufacture of ceramic devices
- Create manufacturing engineering documentation
- Provide technical guidance to the production process operators pertaining to training, failure analysis, process methodology, corrective action, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot production hardware to determine root cause of failures/defects followed by identifying and implementing both interim and permanent corrective actions.
- Create and analyze metrics to target cost and efficiency improvements.
- Apply continuous improvement techniques to drive down costs and improve production efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (STEM discipline ) with 5 years of professional experience
- OR•Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience•OR•PhD with 1 year of professional experience.
- No clearance required to start
- Experience in manufacturing process development, fixture design, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Experience working with mechanical drawings and GD&T fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Training
- Experience working with CAD software.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- Experience in manufacturing process development, fixture design, and troubleshooting.
