Do you excel in creating precise, scalable, and reliable system designs that support data centers, laboratories, hospitals, and other high‑availability facilities? We are seeking a Remote BAS Design Engineer with strong experience in control system design, sequence development, and drawing generation to support complex, high‑stakes projects nationwide. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, values accuracy, and enjoys collaborating with engineering and project teams to deliver exceptional system performance.

What You'll Do🖥️ Lead BAS System Design for Mission-Critical FacilitiesDevelop detailed BAS designs for data centers, critical healthcare environments, pharma labs, and other high‑availability facilities.

Create control architectures, network topologies, device layouts, and I/O summaries to support reliable system operation.📐 Produce High-Quality Drawings & DocumentationPrepare control drawings, riser diagrams, submittal packages, and equipment integration documents.

Utilize Visio or AutoCAD (preferred) to create accurate, clean, and easily interpretable design packages.🧠 Write and Develop Control SequencesCollaborate with engineering teams to develop logical, efficient, and standards‑compliant control sequences of operation.

Ensure sequences support redundancy, uptime requirements, and energy optimization.🔌 Support Integration & Engineering CoordinationWork closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and field teams to validate design intent and ensure constructability.

Provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, and system turnover.🛡️ Ensure Compliance and PerformanceDesign systems that meet high‑reliability requirements, cybersecurity standards, and client specifications.

Participate in design reviews to maintain quality and consistency across all deliverables.

What You Bring5+ years of experience in BAS design, engineering, or control system development.

Strong proficiency in HVAC systems, control theory, and BAS architectures.

Visio or AutoCAD experience preferred (other design tools also welcome).Familiarity with major BAS platforms (Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider, Automated Logic, etc.).Experience with mission‑critical or high‑availability environments strongly preferred.

Ability to collaborate remotely and manage tasks independently.
