Job Description
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in electro-mechanical systems and/or cable assemblies. Experience transitioning products from First Time Build (FTB) into full production. Strong experience developing manufacturing processes and techniques for production environments. Project management experience working with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver products on schedule and within budget. Hands-on experience with thermo-mechanical assemblies, machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and machined parts, 3D printed components, cable assemblies, and system configurations. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T. Strong understanding of manufacturability for materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, and plastics. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies. Preferred Skills Ability to analyze tolerance stack-ups and design for manufacturability (DFM). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Experience leading cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, trade-off analysis, scheduling, and change management. Self-starter with strong execution and follow-through #
