- Westerly, RI Summary:
Designs harsh-environment connectors, cable assemblies, and hull penetrators for subsea applications, taking products from concept through production-ready designs. Key Responsibilities - Design complex products for harsh subsea environments.
- Develop concepts, prototypes, drawings, and production documentation.
- Collaborate with customers, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
- Support initial product builds, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain product drawings and assembly instructions using engineering and MRP software. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of design engineering experience preferred.
- Strong
SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, 2D
drafting, and mechanical design skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer collaboration skills.
- Ability to occasionally travel.
