Associate or Bachelor's degree

None Key Requirement The candidate must have hands-on Foundry Tooling Design experience . Candidates without foundry/tooling design experience are considered a major red flag. Top 3 Skills Foundry Engineering Experience Tooling quotation/RFQ Casting scrap/defect analysis and resolution Foundry process knowledge No-bake and cold-box processes Foundry Tooling Design Pattern and core box design Complex 3D modeling Parting line (P/L), offsets and clearances Tool-build layouts No-bake and cold-box processes Creo + SolidCast Strong Creo CAD/modeling Casting flow/simulation analysis using SolidCast Additional Technical Skills Strong CAD skills - Creo preferred Machining drawing/print reading Geometric tolerancing Casting simulation - SolidCast preferred CNC milling knowledge is desirable Responsibilities The engineer will primarily: Design foundry tooling in Creo Work on new pattern tooling Handle tooling RFQs Resolve casting issues and defects Perform re-gating and simulation Support tooling build/process flow Work with pattern makers, tool designers, manufacturing engineers and suppliers.
