Description:

AgreeYa is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to support manufacturing operations by evaluating workstations and projects, improving production efficiency, and updating facility and workflow layouts. The ideal candidate will use industrial engineering methods, engineering drawings, and data analysis to improve processes, equipment utilization, quality, and productivity.

Job Responsibilities:

Study production and maintenance methods, work motions, and cycle times to establish standard production rates and improve operational efficiency. Evaluate manufacturing workstations, projects, floor layouts, workflow, routing, material handling, and machine utilization; recommend and implement layout updates. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and formulas to support manufacturing processes and quality/reliability standards. Review worker logs, processing records, and specification sheets to verify compliance with quality assurance requirements. Support production planning by aligning work assignments with workforce performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays. Prepare charts, graphs, diagrams, and reports to communicate workflow, time-study findings, layout changes, and equipment utilization. Observe work practices and equipment operation to assess adherence to quality standards, equipment use, and maintenance procedures. Conduct time and motion studies using appropriate timing methods to evaluate task duration and identify opportunities to improve productivity. Analyze operational data and prepare reports identifying deviations from established standards and recommending corrective improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process improvement, or a related field. Experience evaluating manufacturing stations, production processes, projects, and facility/workstation layouts. Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating, reviewing, and updating layouts and engineering drawings. Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, calculations, charts, and reporting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams. Ability to apply time-study, motion-study, and standard work methods to evaluate and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience with 3D simulation software for manufacturing process, workstation, or layout evaluation. Experience with production planning, machine utilization analysis, material handling, and workflow optimization.

Education Required:
