Design Engineer
  • Thermoset Composites Design Engineer
  • Thermoset Composites Position Overview The Project Design Engineer
  • Thermoset Composites will lead engineering projects from conception to completion, utilizing advanced technical skills and project management expertise.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design, development, and testing of engineering solutions while adhering to industry standards and client specifications. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings. Perform structural analysis and material science assessments for project feasibility. Apply design for manufacturability principles in product development. Develop prototypes and oversee testing and validation processes. Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to integrate thermoset composite materials into designs. Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication effectively. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools. Strong understanding of structural analysis and material science principles. Experience with design for manufacturability and prototyping processes. Knowledge of testing and validation methodologies in engineering projects. Familiarity with thermoset composite materials and their applications. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
