Job Description
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and Manufacturing experience required. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Basic understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with additional design and analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) is advantageous Proficient in computer skills, including extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint). Basic understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities. Ability to work independently, resolve technical and manufacturing issues without detailed direction. Possess excellent organizational, communication, proofreading, editing and technical writing skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design work and documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality. Relevant certifications (e.g., EIT, DFSS, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
