Job Description

Description The Gen>NEXTer will be a part of the Technical Planning/Engineering team and work alongside the team members in different projects and areas during this rotation. Main objectives will be to support existing vehicle Production processes as well as new model industrialization. Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization, excel macro, process cycle time and adherence, etc. Concept and Development of process layouts, equipment and tooling design, and process steps. Participate in Design reviews of new model tooling. Process evaluation for overall Production output - cycle time and availability. Project management and supplier management. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Major:
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Willingness to learn Team player mindset. Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward. Good Communication skills. Problem Solving / Analytical skills. Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. MS Office knowledge required. Basic CAD knowledge (preferred Catia).
Preferred but not mandatory:
Excel macro, Sharepoint, Apex, etc. Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major). Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application. Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week). Transfer students must have a GPA from current university. Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript. Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
