This role plays a critical part in collecting and integrating machine data across our Wheel and Tire manufacturing facilities, enabling improved operational performance and data-driven decision-making. The MES Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams—including IT, engineering, and plant operations—to support system integrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
What you will be doing:
Configure, program, test, and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions Develop and maintain applications using Visual Studio and Android platforms Deploy and support MES tools on web servers and mobile devices Assist in commissioning new facilities and upgrading existing manufacturing systems Integrate and collect machine data across manufacturing facilities Develop reporting tools to provide actionable insights into production performance Support inventory control processes through system integration and data accuracy Set up, configure, and maintain IGear and proprietary MES platforms Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to users Continuously improve system functionality and performance Develop detailed software design specifications and documentation Meet project deadlines and support timely delivery of system implementations Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and operating procedures Work closely with PLC Controls Engineers, Maintenance teams, IT Operations, and Plant Management Engage with internal users to understand requirements and provide solutions Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in MES, manufacturing, or industrial systems (preferred) Experience with application development (Visual Studio, Android, or similar) Exposure to PLC systems, data integration, and reporting tools Strong technical aptitude in system configuration, programming, and troubleshooting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, performance, and service Self-starter with a results-driven, problem-solving mindset Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional skills Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites and support critical systems as needed What's in it for you?
