Small team, 3-4 projects at a time, direct mentoring from a senior designer, and a path to PE and leadership. Bonus paid twice a year. Responsibilities

• Design alignments, profiles and cross sections in OpenRoads Designer
• Drainage calculations and pipe sizing; earthwork
• Pull quantities into TDOT estimate and quantity sheets
• Project management (~10-15%): schedules, TDOT meetings, forms
• Coordinate with TDOT and local-government clients
• Apply AASHTO, MUTCD and TDOT standards Requirements
• BS Civil Engineering (ABET)
• ~3+ years in roadway design
• Productive in OpenRoads Designer
• Drainage design and pipe sizing knowledge
• PE, or EIT on the path to PE
• Onsite in Knoxville, Mon-Fri Preferred
• PE license
• TDOT experience
• Traffic or bridge design experience Perks
