Senior Manufacturing Engineer Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This pivotal role involves leading process improvements, optimizing production workflows, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manufacturing processes, mechanical engineering, and industrial systems, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement initiatives. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and uphold compliance with industry standards such as
ISO 9001.
Duties Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD to create detailed schematics and process layouts. Conduct root cause analysis to identify production issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility. CNC machines, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and vision inspection systems to ensure optimal operation on assembly lines. Develop and refine tooling, fixtures, and fabrication techniques for plastics injection molding, welding, and other industrial equipment to enhance efficiency and quality. Collaborate with process engineering teams to optimize manufacturing workflows using lean manufacturing principles while maintaining compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Oversee factory experience projects involving automation upgrades, robotics integration, and industrial equipment installation. Prepare detailed schematics and electrical diagrams for automation systems using CAD tools; interpret technical drawings including GD&T specifications. Support factory personnel by providing mechanical knowledge for assembly line setup, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing fabrication solutions. Lead project scheduling efforts for new product launches or process upgrades ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Facilitate training sessions on CNC programming (CAM), robotics, industrial equipment operation, and safety protocols. Experience Proven track record of at least 8 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles within a manufacturing facility environment. Extensive hands-on experience with processes, CNC programming (including CAM), and robotics integration. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; familiarity with schematics design and GD&T standards. Strong background in process engineering methodologies including lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies. Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis using tools like Fishbone diagrams or 5 Whys; experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, welding techniques, tooling fabrication, and factory automation. Familiarity with industrial standards such as
ISO 9001
; understanding of safety regulations related to industrial equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge encompassing assembly line setup, fabrication techniques, tooling design, and mechanical troubleshooting.
