Responsibilities:
Support precision CNC manufacturing operations by developing and improving in-process inspection and metrology workflows used to validate tight-tolerance machined components throughout production. Collaborate closely with CNC Programmers, Machinists, and Quality teams to integrate probing systems, measurement routines, and real-time process feedback into machining operations to improve efficiency and first-pass yield. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced metrology equipment and inspection software while analyzing dimensional data to identify process variation, reduce scrap, and improve machining capability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process control, tooling validation, GD&T compliance, and data-driven manufacturing performance within a highly regulated, high-precision production environment.
Required Skills:
3+ years of CNC machining experience Strong technical background with on-machine probing and metrology systems, including PC-DMIS or similar software Solid understanding and application of GD&T principles Experience supporting precision manufacturing or tight-tolerance machining environments
Additional Skills:
Experience working with Hexagon metrology systems, including on-machine probing technologies and CMM integration Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as CATIA, Siemens NX, and Mastercam for manufacturing and machining applications Experience working in the aerospace industry #open
