Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic production team. This role is pivotal in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced engineering principles and industry best practices to develop innovative solutions, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of efficient manufacturing systems in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes, including plastics injection molding, fabrication, and assembly line operations. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design tooling, fixtures, and process layouts. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, and robotics systems to enhance automation efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce downtime. Create detailed schematics and technical documentation for industrial equipment and process engineering projects. Lead projects involving lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and factory layout optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, and fabrication to develop innovative manufacturing solutions. Perform factory experience assessments to identify opportunities for process enhancement and cost reduction. Oversee the integration of vision inspection systems and industrial equipment to ensure product quality standards are met. Maintain compliance with
ISO 9001
standards by developing procedures that promote quality management practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Proven experience in manufacturing environments with expertise in plastics injection molding, robotics, welding, CNC programming, and fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming tools. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, vision inspection systems, and industrial equipment. Familiarity with schematics reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), tooling design, and process engineering methodologies. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement strategies, and factory safety standards. Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively using structured problem-solving techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams in a manufacturing facility setting.
