job summary: Are you a hands-on problem solver ready to drive efficiency and innovation on the production floor? Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a pivotal role in optimizing the production processes and launching exciting product lines. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering design and floor exectution. You will lead process planning (including PFMEAs and work instructions), design and source advanced tooling, and champion continuous improvement initiatives (VA/VE, scrap reduction, and time studies) to maximize line efficiency.

Shelbyville, Tennessee job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 97,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Develop new production lines, build engineering standards, authors PFMEAs, and create work instructions to support new product launchesDesign, install, and improve floor tooling and fixtures while negotiating with external suppliers for new equipment purchasesConduct Motion & Time studies, reduce scrap and machine downtime, and executes cost-saving initiatives (VA/VE)Provide hands-on technical guidance on the shop floor to quickly troubleshoot and resolve equipment, quality, and maintenance issuesCalculate standard time, manning, and tooling costs for new business quotes, and manage quality system paperwork (Process Deviations, run-at-rate forms). qualifications:
