Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer for a role north of Nashville. This role will be doing design for sheet metal fabrication. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and launch new products Support the continuous improvement and maintenance of existing products Assist production with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues Work with service teams to diagnose and resolve field issues Provide technical support to Sales and Customer Service teams Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation Manage product data including BOMs, routings, and change documentation Coordinate with third-party contractors as needed Ensure products meet industry standards and compliance requirements Research opportunities for design improvements, cost reductions, and new technologies Partner with Quality Assurance to develop and refine quality standards Collaborate with Purchasing to source materials and components Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing-related engineering Experience with sheet metal fabrication Proficiency in CAD solid modeling (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX) Preferred Experience Electrical systems, wiring, schematics, and embedded systems Refrigeration system design and troubleshooting Airflow systems, CFD, and heat transfer Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of White House, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
