A Manufacturing Process Engineer develops workflow, work station, and equipment improvement recommendations within a company's manufacturing environment. Fine tunes manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Evaluates manufacturing processes, applies knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and material.

This position will support the Program production and development activities related to tooling and will involve design, procurement, internal manufacturing build, proposal, maintenance, supplier and production floor visits, defining/leading the path forward for the new group, and any other program related activity regarding tooling. The position requires frequent communication and collaboration with people located across the United States including other Manufacturing Engineers as well as other functions including Design Engineering, Systems Engineering, Quality Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Production Planning and Control, Contracts, and Program Management. Basic Qualifications Bachelors of Science in an engineering or technical field Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications, and other systems integration technical data 5+ years experience in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) 5+ years experience with Pro-E/Creo/Windchill or other CAD system Knowledge of
ASME Y14.5
