You will be responsible for material selection, processing development, analysis, and validation as it is related to manufacturing additive inserts. What You'll Do Hands on operations of Additive Manufacturing (AM) machines and post-processing Closely collaborate with tool design engineers to develop and optimize parts to leverage AM technology Work closely with AM machine's manufacturers to develop process specifications and printing parameters Characterize fabricated parts to understand defects and mechanical properties Monitor, troubleshoot, and correct issues associated with process or equipment Provide input for new product development Lead in-house maintenance of AM machines, working with technicians Support on afternoon or night shifts as needed to sustain 24x7 production Lead the projects for improving machine uptime, powder yield, quality of prints What You'll Bring Degreee in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in operating Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) equipment such as
EOS, SLM
