Electrical / Electromechanical Manufacturing send resumes to Role Overview Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introduction, drive design‑for‑manufacturability, and develop scalable production processes for electrical assemblies such as switchboards, control panels, and power distribution equipment. This role connects Design, Production, and Quality to ensure efficient, high‑quality manufacturing as operations grow. Key Responsibilities Lead NPI from concept through production release; develop routing, tooling, and validation. Review all new designs for manufacturability and provide actionable feedback. Design and optimize facility layouts, workstations, and production flow. Identify and justify capital equipment investments with ROI analysis. Develop jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids to improve quality and reduce cycle time. Serve as the senior technical escalation point on the production floor. Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Production Planning on manufacturability, capability, and capacity. Build cost‑per‑panel models and capacity analyses; support system‑level cost reduction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5-8 years of hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience with strong floor presence. Electrical/electromechanical manufacturing experience required (wiring, schematics, components). Proven experience with NPI, DFM, facility layout, and capital equipment justification. Practical Lean manufacturing experience (VSM, flow optimization). Skilled in process documentation and assembly layout development. Familiar with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and advanced Excel. Strong communication and leadership abilities. UL standards experience (UL508A, UL67, UL891) preferred.

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
