- You will be the Additive Manufacturing Engineering Lab Manager for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Additive Manufacturing Engineering Lab which is responsible for advancing additive manufacturing technologies for aerospace applications.

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.- Basic Qualifications
- Engineering or other technical bachelor's degree (STEM). ≥8 years of technical experience in metal and polymer additive manufacturing/3D printing technology, preferably in aerospace or defense. Demonstrated success in developing technology roadmaps and securing funding for R D projects. Technical leadership capability within challenging technical, cost, and schedule constraints.

Full-Time Salary Range:
