We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for an onsite role at our Fort Worth, Texas facility, located at 1300 W. Peter Smith Rd, Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will be part of the Fort Worth plant engineering team and will support the plant's strategic, operational, and policy-related initiatives. Your focus will include safety, quality, performance, and overall organizational objectives. You will manage multiple capital projects at the Fort Worth plant, overseeing technical execution, timelines, and financial performance for each project.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute capital projects at the Fort Worth plant, including Processing, Packaging, Building, and Utility systems Partner with the Engineering Manager to align project priorities specific to the Fort Worth facility Collaborate with the CAPEX Analyst to develop and manage the capital forecast and budgets for plant projects Create, design, and evaluate initial request-for-tender documents alongside the Engineering Manager Work with Regional Engineering teams during bidding processes and technical evaluations Coordinate with the CAPEX Procurement team to align priorities and support contract negotiations Travel occasionally as needed for training or project support related to the Fort Worth plant Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. About You Job Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge in: Integrated automation and controls technology High-speed packaging system design Dairy processing engineering and PMO practices, including 3A standards Manufacturing plant utility systems Highly organized and self-disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at the Fort Worth site Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends or late shifts, during installation and startup phases
Experience and Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or relevant degree from an accredited College or University Candidates without a complete bachelor's degree will be considered if they have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing capital projects or managing maintenance and reliability in a food manufacturing site. 3 to 5 years of experience 3 years of relevant Engineering experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing This onsite position at the Fort Worth plant plays a critical role in supporting the site's continued growth and operational excellence.
