Design Engineer

We have an outstanding Contract position for aDesign Engineerto join a leading Company located in theGrand Prairie, TXsurrounding area.

• US Citizenship is required.
• Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
• You will be the Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer for an Air Dominance production team.

Our team is responsible for producing key components of the missile system. As the Mechanical Review Board Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production programs by identifying and resolving production issues, defects, and failures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement viable solutions, often in time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities :

+ Participate as a key member in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, including reviewing non-conforming hardware for performance impacts, identifying appropriate root cause, and ensuring corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence. + Coordinate effort within the Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams. + Support weekly meetings to review the status with leadership.

Basic Hiring Criteria :

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an engineering-related field. + Minimum 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and the ability to perform tolerance analysis. + Minimum 2 years of experience with Creo design software + Minimum 2 years of experience with Root cause and corrective action experience + Minimum 2 years of experience with reading engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications + Be able to lead investigative efforts and report status to interdisciplinary teams Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
