Job Description

Job Summary:
Process projects. Prepare and conceptualize sketches, layouts, and schematics on a job to job basis.
Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements from customers and develop design solutions Prepare bills of materials Design and develop cost analysis, test, handle implementation, analysis of products, systems, and new technology Produce approval drawings and manufacturing drawings Design software test for special applications Process feedback from manufacturing Assist marketing, manufacturing, and field service with engineering-related issues Organize instruction manual Research STD data base Manage projects and design review system Improve computers and design software Develop and maintain engineering standards/processes
Skills and Experience:
4-10 years of relevant work experience Spec interpretation, logic diagrams, electrical theory, understanding of a PC design workstation Electrical Theory, Pro-E, AutoCad, Thermal Analysis, PC, analysis
Tools/Equipment:
Corporate network and other engineering software. Oscilloscope and other measurement tools.
Education and Training:
BSEE or
BSME REQUIRED
Travel:
Up to 15% to 25%
