We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team This on-site position is ideal for a professional with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing. You will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving quality, and driving efficiency in the design and manufacturing of solar products.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for products to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles, including process flow, layout design, and time studies Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to resolve engineering and manufacturing issues Identify opportunities for automation, tooling improvements, and process enhancements Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma or other quality methodologies Support new product introductions by developing and validating manufacturing processes and work instructions Monitor KPIs and recommend corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing. or Mechanical Engineering (required) Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role, preferably with solar products Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools Hands-on experience with ERP systems, CAD tools, and production documentation Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and on-site full time in the Katy area
