Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in process engineering, machinery, and manufacturing techniques will drive productivity and quality across our facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot industrial equipment, robotic systems. Conduct root cause analysis on process issues to identify underlying problems and implement corrective actions swiftly. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAD tools for designing fixtures, tooling, or process layouts. Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate manufacturing processes efficiently. Perform machining operations and CNC programming using CAM software to produce precise components aligned with specifications. Support fabrication activities including welding, assembly line setup, and mechanical fabrication using hand tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall factory productivity. Read schematics and electrical wiring diagrams to troubleshoot industrial equipment and ensure safety compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Assist in process engineering projects focused on continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility. Maintain detailed documentation of process parameters, maintenance logs, and quality records for compliance and operational excellence. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment with factory experience in plastics injection molding or similar processes. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in machining, CNC programming, robot programming, and fabrication techniques. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Knowledge of industrial equipment including PLCs, schematics, electrical wiring, and industrial automation systems. Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
standards and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes. Excellent math skills for interpreting technical drawings and process calculations. Hands-on experience with tooling setup, assembly line operations, welding techniques, and maintenance procedures. Strong organizational skills in project scheduling and process documentation to support continuous improvement efforts. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams within a manufacturing facility dedicated to lean manufacturing principles.
