Six Sigma Black Belt Location:
Rhome, TX (On-Site) About GNB Global GNB Global is a leading manufacturer of engineered fabric structures serving customers throughout North America. We are committed to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional products and service. Position Summary GNB Global is seeking an experienced Lean Specialist / Six Sigma Black Belt to lead continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This individual will partner with leadership and production teams to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, reduce waste, improve productivity, and drive operational excellence throughout the organization. Essential Responsibilities Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the facility. Facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and root cause analysis. Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Develop and implement standardized work instructions and best practices. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Collect, analyze, and present operational performance data to leadership. Train supervisors and employees on Lean principles and continuous improvement tools. Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams. Track project results and ensure measurable improvements are achieved and sustained. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of: Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Value Stream Mapping 5S Kaizen Root Cause Analysis Standard Work Visual Management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing improvement projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction products, or heavy industrial environments. Lean certification and additional continuous improvement credentials are a plus. Project management experience is highly desirable.
