Who we're looking for Toyota's Environmental & Facility Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer with construction management background and facility operations background. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage capital projects (facility equipment and systems renewals and local building additions/modifications) and provide technical support to the Facilities Maintenance team at the manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Manager of Facility Operations, the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facility department's objective to provide project management and construction to ensure projects are designed and completed to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing plants. Additionally, the role will have technical support responsibility for maintenance and operations of facility ancillary support systems such as utilities tracking and billing, docks and doors, piping support systems, HVAC and HCU systems, mechanical piping, roofing systems, and provide backup support for excavation permits. What you'll be doing Technical support for TMMTX manufacturing plant in the areas of equipment and systems renewal design and construction, including development and maintaining of equipment and systems related standards. Development of criteria for completion of construction projects. Experience in equipment and systems planning, project management, construction, and system startup/check to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs. Confirming equipment and systems annual renewal plans with other local facility engineers Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customers to support their needs. Supporting facility ancillary equipment and systems including preventive maintenance plans, corrective maintenance activities, renewals and support of maintenance in the daily operations of the systems. Leading problem-solving activities and implementing strategies for long-term success Create and train skilled team members on process-related standard work documents. What you bring Bachelor of Science in ME, EE, CE, or ChME or 5-7 years' experience with facilities equipment/systems. Experience with industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air). Experience in operations and maintenance of facility equipment/systems. Ability to provide detailed data-driven analysis. Experience working across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil). Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook). Added bonus if you have Professional Engineering License Experience with industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution 480VAC+). Experience in industrial ancillary systems (lighting, roadways, storm drainage, etc.) Familiarity with electrical, building, mechanical and city codes.
