• Full-time MFG One, LLC located in Chantilly, VA, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes for medical device products.

This role focuses on enhancing quality, productivity, and throughput while reducing overall costs and improving customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on shop floor experience, and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for medical device products, including IV warming systems and saline solution equipment Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Troubleshoot assembly and production issues, providing effective electro-mechanical solutions Create and maintain work instructions, rework procedures, and manufacturing specifications Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product changes and enhancements Train production personnel and support overall shop floor operations Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations Manage projects, including planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical engineering role Experience in assembly-based manufacturing environments Required Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixture design Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and applying tolerances Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Effective communication and ability to work across multiple teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis) Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with
