Position Key Responsibilities:

Assist product engineer with design to cost Define and document equipment calibration requirements Develop floor layouts Document procedures, process qualifications, work instructions, shop aids, routings, etc. Develop manufacturing engineering plans and strategies for specific products and processes Install manufacturing process systems and conduct production qualification Provide process analysis to support new business (NPI) opportunity assessment and quoting Develop, design, procure, and construct manufacturing process hardware, fixturing tools, software, and work environment Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines Lead quality initiatives using six sigma methodology to determine extent of non-conformance root cause, and corrective action Monitor and control process parameters, and identify special processes and need for
