Senior Manufacturing Engineering Lead (Direct Hire)

$93,000

Annually Position Type :

Non-Exempt, eligible for overtime Overview Saxon is partnering with one of our clients to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Tacoma, WA. This role provides technical leadership while driving process optimization, continuous improvement, and successful new product introductions within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality Oversee project planning, timelines, and execution of engineering initiatives Support production through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Lead equipment selection, automation, and capital improvement projects Manage new product introduction (NPI) from design transfer through production ramp-up Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, and maintenance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) 5-8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement Experience with process design, PFMEA, and validation Hands-on experience with automation, equipment, and production tooling Proficiency in CAD and strong analytical/problem-solving skills Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with company match (up to 4%) 10 paid holidays Vacation and sick leave Employee referral bonus program Follow us on : https://www.linkedin.com/company/saxon-aerospace-usa Visit our careers page for additional job openings: https://www.saxonaerospace.com/careers About Saxon Aerospace US Inc.: We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer .
