Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers' systems operate efficiently and reliably, providing comfort and peace of mind. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians who thrive on problem-solving and delivering top-tier service. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, boilers, and refrigeration equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, refrigeration, and plumbing systems to optimize performance. Install new HVAC equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components in residential or commercial settings. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment; repair or replace faulty parts as needed. Read and interpret HVAC design plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation and service procedures. Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems including appliance repair and system upgrades. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and communicate findings clearly with clients. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration or mechanical maintenance. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and plumbing components. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, and property maintenance. Field service experience involving appliance repair or property management is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Additional certifications in refrigeration (including ammonia), HVAC/R systems, or boiler operation are advantageous. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
