Located in Luxemburg, Wisconsin—just minutes from Green Bay—we manufacture plastic containers, bottles, and plastic lumber used in a variety of industries. We are growing our engineering team and are seeking an experienced Plastics Manufacturing Engineer to support our Profile Extrusion / Plastic Lumber Division . This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to be more than a desk-based resource. You'll work directly with operations, maintenance, quality, and other teams to optimize extrusion processes, improve manufacturing performance, support new product development, and drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do Optimize and improve plastic extrusion manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity. Provide hands-on engineering support for extrusion equipment, tooling, and processes . Lead projects from concept through implementation, including new product development and process improvements . Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other teams to identify opportunities and implement solutions. Evaluate new business opportunities and recommend the best manufacturing approach , balancing cost, quality, capacity, and process capability. Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and processing issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Develop and implement process improvements that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to manufacturing teams. Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement . What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering , or a related field. 3-5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with plastic extrusion processing and equipment . Proven project management experience, particularly with product development and/or process improvement . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate engineering concepts into practical manufacturing solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A hands-on, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement .
