Manufacturing Engineer Reports To:
President Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to oversee and support all aspects of manufacturing engineering. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing production processes, as well as ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically skilled, and capable of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, including tooling, fixtures, and production methods Troubleshoot production issues and identify solutions to enhance efficiency and performance Program and support CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, gear machines, and grinders Set up CNC machines to execute complex machining operations with tight tolerances and finish requirements Interpret operational data to define tooling, fixturing, and machining processes Analyze mechanical and equipment-related issues and implement corrective actions Ensure all products meet quality expectations and comply with ISO standards Follow established processes and ensure accuracy in production workflows Communicate effectively across teams to support production and engineering objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Experience with CAD/CAM software for creating and modifying prints Strong understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive results Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong analytical thinking and ability to resolve complex issues Effective interpersonal, communication, math, and reading skills
