Design Engineer Are you passionate about innovation and precision? Join our dynamic team as a Design Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development of new products and overcoming backlogged work. Your expertise in SolidWorks will be essential in designing assembly and welding fixtures, ensuring manufacturability, and enhancing production efficiency. This hands-on role will see you actively involved in the creation and implementation of fixtures, making a tangible impact on our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities Innovative Design:
Utilize SolidWorks to create cutting-edge assembly and welding fixtures.Manufacturability Focus:
Design with efficiency in mind to streamline production processes.Collaborative Creation:
Work closely with the team to develop fixtures, whether in-house or outsourced.Production Assurance:
Ensure fixtures are fully operational and effective in production settings.Hands-On Engagement:
Be actively involved in the creation and implementation of fixtures.Essential Skills SolidWorks Proficiency:
At least 5 years of experience with SolidWorks.Fixture Design Expertise:
Proven experience in assembly and fixture design.DFM/A Principles:
Strong understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly principles.FEA Analysis:
Ability to conduct finite element analysis. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
