Job Description

Join Our Team Saveco North America is a leading provider of innovative wastewater treatment equipment and solutions serving municipalities, industrial facilities, and engineering firms throughout North America. As we continue our growth and expand our manufacturing and assembly operations, we are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Project Manager to lead the successful execution of custom equipment projects from order receipt through installation support and final project closeout. This role is ideal for a technically minded project leader who excels at coordinating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer-facing activities. The Engineering Project Manager serves as the central point of communication for project execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, accurately, on time, and within budget.
What You'll Do:
Lead Project Execution Manage multiple wastewater treatment equipment projects simultaneously from contract award through completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall project performance. Identify risks, resolve issues, and proactively drive projects to successful completion. Lead project kickoff, status, and closeout meetings. Coordinate Engineering Activities Review customer specifications, purchase orders, technical requirements, and contract documents. Coordinate engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, equipment submittals, and documentation packages. Work closely with design engineers to ensure project requirements are accurately incorporated into equipment designs. Manage engineering changes and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project updates. Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and completeness. Support Manufacturing & Assembly Operations Partner with Production, Assembly, and Supply Chain teams to ensure projects progress according to schedule. Monitor fabrication, assembly, testing, and shipment activities. Coordinate material availability and supplier performance. Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), quality inspections, and equipment commissioning activities. Help resolve manufacturing and assembly challenges that may impact project schedules. Build Strong Customer Relationships Serve as the primary project contact for customers, consulting engineers, contractors, representatives, and vendors. Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Manage customer requests, change orders, and project documentation. Ensure customer expectations are met while protecting project scope and profitability. Drive Project Success Maintain project documentation and reporting. Track project financial performance and forecast project outcomes. Coordinate invoicing milestones and project closeout requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on project execution, engineering processes, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field. 3+ years of project management experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineered products, wastewater treatment, or a related industry. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with wastewater treatment equipment, solids handling systems, screening equipment, conveyors, compactors, classifiers, or similar industrial machinery. Experience working with municipalities, consulting engineers, and public infrastructure projects. PMP certification or formal project management training. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software. Experience supporting equipment manufacturing, assembly, or field installation projects. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
