Job Description

Putzmeister seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design, optimize, and support production of concrete pumps and material handling equipment. In this engineering-driven, quality-focused environment, you will develop and refine manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions to improve safety, throughput, and product reliability. Partner with design, quality, and operations to implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, solve shop-floor issues, and industrialize new products for global construction, tunneling, and mining applications. Responsibilities Design and optimize manufacturing processes for concrete pumps and material handling equipment. Develop tooling, fixtures, and work instructions to improve safety, quality, and throughput. Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects on the shop floor. Collaborate with design, quality, and operations to industrialize new products. Analyze production data to reduce waste, defects, and cycle times. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO standards. Document process changes, PFMEAs, and control plans.
