As part of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you'll contribute to projects that improve how products are built and bring new ideas into production. This role offers the opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment while supporting work that matters globally. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with Husco, you will support the development and implementation of automation equipment, new manufacturing technology, and improvements to new or existing product lines in support of Husco's strategic objectives. You'll work with cross-functional teams to help bring manufacturing solutions from concept into production while building your technical and project skills. What You'll be
Doing:
Support New Automation Equipment Development and Implementation:
Assist with coordinating design resources and production activities to help design, quote, specify, order, debug, receive, install, and validate new production equipment. Support new product development efforts to help meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.Help Develop and Implement New Manufacturing Processes:
Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and technologies that support team and businessobjectives. Collaborate withInternal and External Stakeholders:
Work with Marketing, Design, Production, and external partners to help ensure designs are manufacturable, equipment aligns with product requirements, andnew solutionsintegrate with existing processes and equipment.Support Materials and Equipment Upgrades:
Assist with evaluating tooling and equipment needs for existing product lines and processes, including helping prepare information for capital equipment decisions. Support equipment activities from design review through implementation.What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Machine Design, or Mechanical Engineering. Internship, co-op, academic project, or hands-on experience in manufacturing, automation, or engineering is preferred. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage assigned tasks, and contribute to project goals in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to automation, manufacturing equipment, or continuous improvement through internships, co-ops, coursework, labs, or project work is preferred. Basic understanding of engineering principles.
